Police have solved the case by identifying the unidentified body found in Maheshwara village in Aurai police station area of Muzaffarpur district on December 3. Based on their collection of technical and human information, the police have identified the deceased involved in this murder as 22-year-old Neeraj Kumar. Rural SP Vidya Sagar gave information about the matter in a press conference.
The incident was linked to Sitamarhi
On December 3, an unidentified body of a youth was found in Aurai police station area. Initially he could not be identified. In this regard, the police took the help of social media as a result of which the body was identified as Neeraj Kumar (22). Police have arrested four accused in this case. All the arrested accused are residents of Runni Saidpur police station area of Sitamarhi district. Police say that those accused came to Muzaffarpur district and killed the youth and then loaded the body on a bike and threw it near the dam and ran away.
Had an affair with friend’s sister
While narrating the complete story of the incident, Rural SP Vidya Sagar said that Neeraj Kumar was murdered by his friends together. Regarding the reason for the murder, he told that Neeraj was having an affair with Guddu Kumar’s sister. Guddu Kumar got this information. Neeraj used to make many statements to his friend about his sister. Because of this he was angry and then accused Guddu Kumar informed this to his friend Pramod. Then they made a plan to remove Neeraj Kumar from the way. During this, those friends strangled Neeraj to death. To dispose of the dead body, they loaded it on a bike, took it to a deserted place, dumped it and then fled from the spot. In this case, the police arrested the accused Guddu Kumar, Rajesh Sahni, Pramod Kumar and Govid Manjhi. Those accused admitted their involvement in this incident.
Secret revealed due to broken battery of mobile phone, accused also seen in CCTV footage
Rural SP Vidya Sagar said that from several broken batteries recovered from the deceased, information was gathered that he worked in a mobile phone repair shop. After this, the police reached the root of this story on the basis of human information along with technical research in this matter and the reason for this murder could be further unraveled. In this case, all the accused who committed the murder came out riding on two bikes and then called the deceased, strangulated him to death and threw the body.
